TUTOR'S BACKGROUND
Alison is an award winning textile designer, weaving bespoke fabrics for interiors and fashion, under the name Alison Yule Textiles. She learnt to weave at the tender age of eight and is one of only a few people who have an 'O' and 'A' level in weaving!
Alison is a popular tutor in her local area, throughout the UK and in Europe. Alison is the co-author, with Jane Deane, of 'Creative Spinning' and it is the skills that she uses in her woven textiles, and that she and Jane employ when designing their hand spun yarns, that she will pass on to the students of this workshop.
