WONDERFUL WOVEN WET FELTING
Make a wet felted piece using a simple weaving technique. The piece can be embellished later with stitch, print, beads or buttons, and made into a small placemat, cover for a handmade book or a decorative art piece.
Students should bring a plastic apron or bin liner, towel and a plastic bag to take the wet piece home.
All necessary equipment, including Merino and other Wool fibre, prefelt and a variety of yarns and fabrics to weave will be provided by the tutor at an additional cost of £3.oo per student.
Pat was a teacher for many years and completed 3 years of City and Guild feltmaking courses at Gloscat college in 2004. She makes accessories and clothing using a variety of feltmaking techniques.
