Knitted helicopter fundraiser

Knitted helicopter fundraiser

Wonderwool Wales has supported Wales Air Ambulance for at least the past ten years, initially offering them a free stand at the annual show and, since 2011, also raising more than £5000 for the cause from the bag creche, mini buses and exhibitions. Now organisers are inviting knitters to use a specially devised pattern to make helicopters which can be auctioned at the show at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, Powys on April 27 and 28, 2019. Any donated helicopters not auctioned off will be given to Wales Air Ambulance to sell in their shops.

Read full details and download the pattern.
