TUTOR'S BACKGROUND
Lynda is a textile teacher with over 20 years experience and is now a freelance Tutor and Lecturer. She is enthusiastic about spreading the creative side of textiles to students of all ages. Lynda encourages looking outside the box, learning the rules of techniques and then breaking them to create something unique, practical and satisfying.
Lynda's main areas of interest are free-machine embroidery, creating your own fabrics and embellishing them, weaving, spinning and dyeing and many rug-making techniques ... but not for rugs, instead they are used for hats, bags, cushions, corsages and bracelets.
Lynda is also a keen recycler and charity shopaholic.
