Borrowing a hook and hooking frame you will be given a piece of hessian and choice of yarn. The Workshop will start by fastening the hessian to the frame using drawing pins. Then Carole will show you the simple art of hooking with the carpet yarn. It is a very simple process, and with just a little practice and you will be 'hooked'! After the Workshop you can take away your hessian and yarn. Hooks and frames will be available for sale on Carole's stand.

teen madchen nackt Carole describes herself as a 'maker'. When she looks back she realises that from childhood she has always been interested in making things - usually with fabric and wool. Mostly self-taught, she loves getting that 'light bulb' moment when you just have to start a project and can become obsessed until it is completed! Carole first came across 'hooking' at her local agricultural show over 20 years ago. . . and was literally hooked! The unique look and wonderful rhythmic action of hooking with carpet wool had her entranced and since that time she has created lots of designs: rugs, cushions, pictures and bags that she makes up into kits to pass on the art of hooking.
