The Tutor will provide fleece for discussion, but please feel free to bring samples of fleece which interest you. They may be any breed, preferably greasy or scoured.
Sue is Managing Director of The Natural Fibre Company and Blacker Yarns and also has her own small flock of Gotland and coloured Blue-faced Leicester sheep. Sue’s book, Pure Wool, describes individual sheep breeds, their fleeces and the resulting yarns together with patterns and appropriate designs for the style of yarn resulting from each type of wool.
